The program axon reads very clear!Looking at it and beeing seduced by the transparency of the building volumes I wonder if it makes sense to let the floor pattern continue into the buildings? The roofs on the upper level buildings could be a version of that pattern as well, which means that there would be two layers of them at some points.
Maybe I am going crazy with running too far on one idea, but if you make this boundary really strong (providing all sorts of ener action)it could become "the" key element in your design. Try using some variation of it on the facades as well.
